the dawn of a new age

just as we can look back in history and reference the dawn of the industrial revolution, or the age of enlightenment, so is history making in the process at the office. the office, dear readers, has purchased a vacuum cleaner. let me give it moment for the shock to dissipate. yes, a vacuum; an instrument of cleaning, a tool to combat filth. this is the dawn of a new era, a time of change and revolutionizing progress! join with us to help make the office a cleaner place! oft have we lamented the pile of dishes in the sink, the smell of the blankets on the couch, or gavin's overall homely appearance...but no more! the vacuum is the symbol of a new commitment to change, to cleanliness, to order! office employees unite!

A vacuum, a new layout, no more dance parties...yes, it is truly the dawning of a new era. As I mentioned in my last post though, we really need a leader to pull us out of our former squaller. And since most of you didn't get your votes in, I think Bryant should be the one to lead this battle by enforcing cleaning laws, by pain of death. So Bryant I hope your up to the task. I ask just one favor...please don't kill me.

You know what I just realized Bryant? You too have entered the dawn of a new age, purchasing yourself a different symbol in which to recognize the "commitment to change, to cleanliness, to order!" I believe we call this a big fat diamond ring and to that I say - well done!
